Words of Grace Card Club - this group reaches out in love and concern for those in our community dealing with difficult times. They meet and create cards to send to those on our church prayer list, and try to maintain contact with those unable to attend church ( letting them know they are in our thoughts and prayers).


The UFO Group -.They may be folded in a drawer, stuffed in a box in a closet, or just in your mind.  Many of us have Un Finished Objects in our lives, projects that can be carried with us, and are waiting to be sewn, knitted, crocheted, sorted, or sketched.  Any kind of handwork would be welcome.
    Come September 10, 2008, the UFO group (used to be Busy Fingers) is meeting at the church at 10.30 a.m.  It is hoped that some or all of the participants will be able to congregate for lunch afterwards at a local restaurant.  Work, talk, eat, a perfect recipe for sharing.

Writing Group -Updated: July, 2009 Members of the new writing group at Grace will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, September 8, at 10 a.m. The intent is that members will become more confident in their writing skills, and will put down on paper some of the stories of their lives that will be appreciated by their great-grandchildren.

For some, their writing may take the form of fiction or poetry, an opportunity to develop self-expression and to share the fun of writing. Pat Nelles believes that everyone can write, that everyone has stories to tell, and that there is no time like the present.

Updated: September, 2009 Nine members of the new writing group met in thechurch library on Tuesday September 8th, Meetings will continue every second Monday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm starting on September 21, usually in the Fellowship Hall. Writing will include personal and family history storiesshared in a supportive atmosphere

Grace Travel Group
We  meet to discuss members' vacation trips and plan excursions or trips of common interest. In 2008 we did a bus trip to New York and then in the Fall - a cruise visiting Turkey and Greece.
