Membership  

In partnership with our minister
  • We make sure an accurate list of names and addresses of church members and adherents is maintained and sent to Presbytery.
  • We oversee the admission of persons into church membership.
  • We ensure that certificates of transfer of membership are granted.
  • We present to our Church Council the names of individuals or couples who desire to become members, to be baptized or to be united in marriage.
 
Pastoral Care

Working in conjunction with our Minister we ensure that members of our Church Family  receive comfort and support as needed. Prayer is an important part of our Pastoral Care meetings. If you, your family, or a friend needs encouragement or assistance ( illness, visitation, hospitalization, communion etc, )  please let us know by contacting Rev. Dan's confidential phone line (905) 765-4515. Communication is our best resource.  We can only help when we know there is a need.

As a representative of our church, when a member of the Lay Visitation team visits her or his assigned person, a time of prayer and/or inspirational readings is offered.

MANDATE : 
To provide general oversight of the Membership Role and the  Pastoral Care needs of the Congregation.
